This is great, Julie. I always love my kids' attempts at humor.
Kinda reminds me of a certain sister of mine who, when she was a little girl, ALSO liked to tell knock-knock jokes:
JULIE: Knock, knock. FAMILY: Who's there? JULIE: Tiger. FAMILY: Tiger who? JULIE: Tiger who went to the zoo and got some peanuts and ate them. FAMILY: [knowing looks and hiding giggles] JULIE: And then the tiger went to the mountains and ran up and down the hills. FAMILY: [holding hands over mouth to suppress laughs] JULIE: What? FAMILY: [bursting out laughing]
Sorry, Julie. I just couldn't resist; you were FAMOUS for these knock knock jokes. And we loved them.
Too cute! Garrett went through a joke telling phase recently, but we haven't heard many lately. His jokes were very similar. He is also partial to the chicken and anything else crossing the road jokes. We love your blog it's fun to hear about your family. Your song leading post is so much like our family. I have even thought of doing the same thing, taping it and posting, I still may.
Hi Julie- too cute! I love when I already know a joke and then hear a younger little person tell it the wrong way. It just shows that to them it didn't make any sense in the first place. Smile!
I forgot to mention... I talked with Karen from our adoption agengy and she said that if you (or anyone else) needs to call you can call her directly instead of calling the generic 800 number. She is GREAT to work with!
We are totally trusting in HIS time, but we are also praying quite a bit. It can't hurt, right?? smile!!
